Moviemaking Workshop online Premiere
goes live at Midday October 18th 2025
The Kinekulab Norwich moviemaking workshop took place in central Liverpool on September 26th 2025. Six aspiring Kinekumakers worked throughout the day to devise and shoot footage which could later be edited into 17 second movie haiku.
On Saturday 18th October 2025 the results of those edits will go live at Midday BST (British Summer Time) in a YouTube Playlist Premiere of every Kineku produced as a response to the Kinekulab workshop.
Kinekulab Liverpool 2025 particpants
The playlist is called Kinekulab Liverpool Showreel and is already being populated with finished, certified, Kineku movies. To qualify as a Kineku every submission must be precisely 17 seconds long with an additional 3 second title for distribution. Only participants in the workshop can submit Kineku movies to the playlist.
As soon as the playlist is live you can click on any link to it on this website to access it. The playlist will be free to access and we welcome feedback on YouTube, social media or via our contacts page.
If you weren’t at the Kinekulab Liverpool Workshop and would like to submit a Kineku for sharing on our Video Wall or YouTube or Vimeo channels, the normal submission process is still open so please send in your 17 second mini-masterpiece.
